Erev Shabbat Service (Parshat Bo) ~ Friday, January 15th

Join the Little Minyan Kehilla for the first Shabbat of the new month of Tevet and our first Shabbat gathering of 2016. We will welcome Shabbat with song, stories and prayer.

hardened-heart-300x196 The Torah portion will be Parshat Bo, when Moses and Aaron once again go to Pharaoh to demand, in the name of their God, that Pharaoh “let my people go!” **SPOILER ALERT** Just in case you dozed off during seder or missed the classic Ten Commandments with Charleton Heston, God has “hardened Pharaoh’s heart,” so there are a few more plagues and a great deal of pain ahead for Egypt.  Why is Pharaoh’s heart hardened by God and what does it mean to have a hardened heart? These and other questions will be at the warm and open heart of our communal conversation of Torah. You can do a bit of reading in advance or just show up.
